FROSTS LEAVES RIVALS WITH GREEN ENVY

FROSTS LEAVES RIVALS WITH GREEN ENVY

Motorists don’t have to wait until 2011 to drive a range of environmentally friendly vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealer Frosts. While proposals for new generation electric cars were recently announced by Chrysler LLC, with plans to have a model available for the European market in three years, there are already economic diesel options available at the Hove showroom. These include the 2.0-litre diesel Jeep Patriot which manages to achieve an impressive 42.2mpg*, while its sister model, the Jeep Compass, can manage more than 43mpg* in diesel guise. Meanwhile, 2.0-litre diesel versions of the Dodge Caliber, Dodge Avenger and Chrysler Sebring can all hit above 45mpg*. And, last year Jeep was ranked ahead of all other manufacturers of off-roaders and SUVs by winning the Gold Award in the 2007 Green 4x4 Awards, with particular praise being given to the Compass and Patriot for being “the most economical 4x4s ever to wear the Jeep badge”. Paul Grover, Dealer Principal at Frosts said: “The news about these electric cars is very exciting, but in the meantime we have a range of vehicles whose miles per gallon may surprise many motorists.” Motorists seeking more information on the complete range of Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge models available at Frosts, should contact the sales team on 01273 272740. * manual versions on the combined cycle -ends-
