Ibzia Awards

The Ibiza has won the closely-contested supermini class in the prestigious British Insurance Vehicle Security Awards (BIVSA) presented by Thatcham, the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre.
 
The Ibiza was awarded an impressive five stars out of five in Thatcham’s New Vehicle Security Register (NVSR) ‘Theft of’ category. It also secured a creditable four stars out of five in the ‘Theft from’ class.
 
Head of SEAT UK, Peter Wyhinny, said: “The new Ibiza range is even more popular than its predecessor, becoming in the process one of the most desirable and sought-after cars in its class. To see the Ibiza secure such an impressive vote of confidence in its security is very important.”
 
The awards, established in 2004, were set up to recognise manufacturers who produce the most secure cars, and to raise awareness among car buyers of high standards of vehicle security.
