OLYMPIC HERO STEVE TURNS MARATHON MAN!

OLYMPIC HERO STEVE TURNS MARATHON MAN!

Olympic gold medallist Steve Ovett dropped into Frosts Jaguar on his visit back home to officially start the first ever Brighton Marathon to thank it for its support of the event.

The Brighton-born athlete flew in from Australia especially for the Marathon on April 18 which was supported by Frosts amongst others.

The Jaguar dealership in Old Shoreham Road, Hove, also displayed an all-new Jaguar XJ at the Marathon start.

Paul Grover, Dealer Principal at Frosts Jaguar, said: “It’s great to have Steve back in Brighton for the Marathon and it was a pleasure to have him visit our dealership.

“The event was also a fantastic opportunity to display an all-new XJ which will be officially arriving in our showroom very soon.”

Sleek, sporting and sophisticated, the all-new XJ brings a daring new spirit to automotive luxury - it offers a seductive mix of striking design, breathtaking performance and engineering without compromise.

Steve Ovett is one of Britain's greatest athletes, winning Olympic 800m gold in Moscow 1980. He has set world records for 1500m and one mile.

Growing up in Brighton he went to Varndean School and also trained at Withdean.
