As our business continues to grow, we’re looking to expand our team with a Service Manager to join our busy Vauxhall Authorised Centre in Chichester.
We're looking for someone with motor retail experience, either in a franchised main dealer or independent workshop.

Key responsibilities for Service:
- Drive profitability of the department;
- Report to the Aftersales Director on a weekly basis on the performance of the department;
- Develop, implement and maintain processes to increase profitability;
- Monitor, improve and develop performance of Service Advisors and Vehicle Technicians;
- Grow workshop utilisation and efficiency, managing Vehicle Technician schedules;
- Carry out Vauxhall warranty claims accurately and in good time;
- Encourage Service Advisors to sell our Service Plan product;
- Manage the day to day running of the Service department;
- Taking customer bookings over the phone, email and in person;
- Preparing jobs cards before customer arrival;
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers are offered courtesy vehicles or our collection and delivery service;
- Invoice preparation and presentation;
- Advising customers if potential extra work is required, providing an explanation and quotation;
- Liaise with our Sales Department for stock preparation and ongoing maintenance;
- Advise on regular routine vehicle servicing and maintenance;
- Explain the benefits of a Frosts Service Plan to our customers and encouraging them to purchase;
- Checking for any outstanding Vauxhall warranty campaigns;
- Developing your knowledge of vehicle maintenance every day to provide advice and insight to our customers;
- General administration associated with a busy Service Department.

Your hours of work will be:
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday 8:00am – 1:00pm (on rota 1 in 2)
Driving Licence:
A full UK driving licence is required for this role
Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience,
