We are once again incredibly proud to be supporting Shoreham Vehicle Auctions and their annual charity auction in aid of Chestnut Tree House.
Established and first run in 2012, the charity sale is a highlight in the calendar for Shoreham Vehicle Auctions, which is generously supported by local car dealers in aid of a wonderful local children's hospice - Chestnut Tree House.
Taking place just before the Easter weekend this year, on Monday 25th March 2024, we at Frosts Cars have donated some wonderful lots to the auction. In keeping with the Easter theme, we have donated two gorgeous Easter bunnies, named Hazel and Bunny, each handmade by Canterbury Bears, as well as a huge selection of Easter eggs. In addition, we have also donated two cars to the sale, a Citroen Picasso and Peugeot 207 SW, as well as 1901 tickets to Premier League game Brighton and Hove Albion vs Aston Villa.
Catherine Stone, Business Development Manager at Shoreham Vehicle Auctions, and involved with the annual event since creation in 2012 said: "In its 13th year the Shoreham Vehicle Auctions Chestnut Tree House charity car auction has raised over £270,000 for children with life long illnesses. This phenomenal amount of money could not be possible without the continued support we receive from our valued customers. Frosts have donated football and speed trial tickets, cuddly bears and part exchange trade cars over the years which has been a fantastic contribution. This year we are lucky enough to have a donation of Aston Villa vs Brighton tickets and a wonderful pair of handmade rabbits from Canterbury Bears. We cannot thank them enough for their generosity.”
Each and every year, Chestnut Tree House provides hospice care and support for 300 children and young people with life-limiting and threatening conditions in Sussex and Hampshire.
