Covid-19 Sales Department Customer Guidance


Whilst the easing of restrictions on Monday 19th July 2021 means that some safety measures will no longer be a legal requirement, at Frosts Cars we remain committed to the health and safety of our customers and colleagues. That's why, in line with government advice to act carefully, we will continue with some safety measures throughout our dealerships. Whilst we won't turn you away should you wish not to follow the measures, we kindly ask that you remain safe. As ever, you will receive the usual excellent levels of customer service.

Face coverings

Although the legal requirement to wear a face covering has ended, we would encourage the use of face coverings at our dealerships. Our colleagues are also encouraged to wear face masks / coverings.

Contactless Click & Collect

When you purchase a vehicle from us remotely you can now collect it safely from our dealerships using our Contactless Click & Collect option. You can reserve a used car online, or our Sales team can work with you remotely over the phone. When you're ready for collection, we will arrange a fixed 1 hour time slot and welcome you to our dedicated Click & Collect area. Read more details here.

Solo Test Drive

We understand that you will want to have a test drive on your own, that's why we will continue to offer our customers the option to complete an un-accompanied test drive. If you would like a Solo Test Drive from either of our dealerships, please contact us today to discuss the ID we require or see more details here.

Social distancing

Although the legal requirement to socially distance has ended, we kindly ask you keep a reasonable distance from our colleagues and other customers on site.

No contact​

We're looking forward to you visiting us, but we wont be offering handshakes like we usually would. We will however greet you with a friendly smile and "hello" and help you in any way we can.​

Hygiene station

Upon entry to our showrooms, we will continue to encourage our visitors to take advantage of our Hygiene Stations. Please clean your hands with the anti-bacterial gel provided. If you're bringing a part exchange for us to look at, please also wipe down your keys with the anti-bacterial wipes provided, including key rings. Please feel free to use the hand gel on exiting the building.

Protective screens

Much like the other retailers, you will continue to find our sales consultants behind protective screens. We will be happy to help you and discuss your requirements from behind these screens. If we need to unlock a vehicle for you, we will ensure we keep a safe distance.

Waiting areas

At present, our waiting areas and refreshment facilities will remain closed. If you need to take a seat, please speak to a member of our sales team who will be happy to help you.

Personal Protective Equipment

Our Sales Consultants will be wearing PPE when they're assisting you in our showrooms. This will include face masks. You will also find them using anti-bacterial hand gel during your visit. If we need to drive your vehicle, we will ensure key areas are cleaned after use.

Key vehicle touchpoints

When you purchase a used car or used van from us, you can rest assured that it will have been cleaned thoroughly prior to your collection. Furthermore, we will ensure that no one enters the vehicle after it has been valeted, giving you peace of mind that you're the first to sit inside since cleaning.
