Covid-19 Service Department Customer Guidance


Our Service Departments in Chichester and Shoreham-by-Sea are now open to support our customers and key workers with their vehicle maintenance. The health, safety and well-being of our colleagues and customers is of upmost importance to us, so we've implemented some safety measures at our dealerships:

Social distancing

Only two customers are allowed to enter our reception area at any one time. Please keep two metres apart from anyone else and follow our social distancing floor marking and posters. If there are more than two people in the reception area, we kindly ask that you queue outside until safe to enter.

No contact​

We're looking forward to welcoming you to our sites, but we wont be offering handshakes like we usually would. We will however greet you with a friendly smile and "hello" and help you with vehicle drop off and collection.​

Hygiene station

Upon entry to our service reception, please clean your hands with the anti-bacterial gel provided. Please also wipe down your keys with the anti-bacterial wipes provided, including key rings. You can also use the hand gel on exiting the building.

Protective screens

Much like the supermarkets, you will find our customer facing colleagues behind protective screens. We will be happy to help you and discuss your booking from behind these screens. If you need to pass us anything, we have handy cut out sections.

Waiting areas

For the time being, to prevent the spreading of the virus, we're closing our waiting areas and refreshment facilities. If you would like to wait for your vehicle, please speak to a member of our team who will be happy to help.

Personal Protective Equipment

You can rest assured that the technicians working on your vehicle will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This includes face masks and gloves. We will also use seat covers, steering wheel covers and paper floor mats in your vehicle.​

Key vehicle touchpoints

When we have completed the work on your vehicle, we will clean the key touchpoints with anti-bacterial products. This includes the steering wheel, gearstick and handles.

Payment

When the work on your vehicle is complete, we will call you to arrange payment over the phone. At present, we're not accepting cash payments. When you drop your vehicle off to us, we will remind you of this before you leave.​
