Covid-19 Service Department Customer Guidance


Whilst the easing of restrictions on Monday 19th July 2021 means that some safety measures will no longer be a legal requirement, at Frosts Cars we remain committed to the health and safety of our customers and colleagues. That's why, in line with government advice to act carefully, we will continue with some safety measures throughout our dealerships. Whilst we won't turn you away should you wish not to follow the measures, we kindly ask that you remain safe. As ever, you will receive the usual excellent levels of customer service. Our Service Departments in Chichester and Shoreham-by-Sea continue to support our customers and key workers with their vehicle maintenance.

Face coverings

Although the legal requirement to wear a face covering has ended, we would encourage the use of face coverings at our dealerships. Our colleagues are also encouraged to wear face masks / coverings.

Social distancing

Although the legal requirement to socially distance has ended, we kindly ask you keep a reasonable distance from our colleagues and other customers on site.​ We will continue to only allow two customers to enter our reception area at any one time

No contact​

We're looking forward to welcoming you to our sites, but we wont be offering handshakes like we usually would. We will however greet you with a friendly smile and "hello" and help you with vehicle drop off and collection.​

Hygiene station

Upon entry to our service receptions, please clean your hands with the anti-bacterial gel provided. Please also wipe down your keys with the anti-bacterial wipes provided, including key rings. You can also use the hand gel on exiting the building.

Protective screens

Much like other retailers, you will find our customer facing colleagues behind protective screens. We will be happy to help you and discuss your booking from behind these screens. If you need to pass us anything, we have handy cut out sections.

Waiting areas

At present, our waiting areas and refreshment facilities will remain closed. If you would like to wait for your vehicle, or require a seat, please speak to a member of our team who will be happy to help.

Personal Protective Equipment

You can rest assured that the technicians working on your vehicle will continue to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This includes face masks and gloves. We will also use seat covers, steering wheel covers and paper floor mats in your vehicle.

Key vehicle touchpoints

When we have completed the work on your vehicle, we will clean the key touchpoints with anti-bacterial products. This includes the steering wheel, gearstick and handles.

Payment

When the work on your vehicle is complete, we will call you to arrange payment over the phone. At present, we're not accepting cash payments. When you drop your vehicle off to us, we will remind you of this before you leave.​
